Heeeeey friends! You'd think that I'd be getting all kinds of sleep during quarantine but I've found myself staying busy with DIY projects after the kids go to bed and then staying up after everyone in my house has gone to bed just so I can soak in some much needed SILENCE! Needless to say, I'm staying up late even when I have to get up early to get the kids fed and situated for quarantine school and nonstop zoom calls. Makeuply speaking...my designer under eye bags, Coco & Chanel, are in rare form. Due to popular demand, I've decided to take this time to answer one of my most frequently answered questions and drop some info on some great concealers.
1. Tarte, Shape Tape $27
This is the concealer I'm Toosie Sliding with in the video above and the concealer I keep it in my personal and my CK💋 kit at all times. It is full coverage, creamy, crease proof, doesn't settle and WEDDING DAY approved! Tarte has created 27 shades with various undertones for you to use as a concealer, highlight or contour options. (Pro Tip: sign up for Tarte or ULTA's newsletter to get notified when it goes on sale for $19)
2. Maybelline, Instant Age Rewind Eraser $7.99
Ok sooooo if I was under 30 I probably would've never looked twice at this concealer BUT I'm not. I threw this in my Target basket when I mistakenly forgot my makeup bag while on a work trip and I've been hooked ever since. I was still nursing/pumping and sleep was a thing of the past which is why I needed something that provided hydration, dark circle coverage and AFFORDABILITY! The built-in sponge makes it easy for buildable coverage and perfect for an easy breezy look. The shade range isn't the best but if you can find your shade it's worth a try.
3. L'Oreal Paris Infallible Full Wear
Looking for full coverage, waterproof, long wearing concealer that's also affordable? This is it BUT you have to move quickly when you apply it because this pretty little thang dries within seconds. I would not recommend this if you have dry under eyes (Pro Tip; Apply under one eye at a time and blend out with a damp beauty blender after each application)
4. Too Faced, Born This Way Super Coverage $29
I've given you 2 affordable, throw it in the bag at Target or Walmart concealers, and now I'm dropping another splurge worthy babe. If you've already read my post on foundations, you know I fell in LOVE with Too Faced foundations and their concealers are just as amazing. The ONLY reason why I don't keep this concealer in my personal stash is because the foundation provides the coverage that I need BUT I do have a few of these babes in my CK💋 kit due to their 35 beautiful shades and hydrating formula.
